One of the main barriers for people wishing to work with British Flowers is the limited availability of flowers between the months of November and March. This workshop will explore methods of extending the season of cut flower production, looking initially at variety selection, and then considering growing techniques and finally marketing. Methods discussed will be suitable for smaller scale growers and those wishing to expand their businesses.
This training will be delivered by Jane Hutcheon from Hay Lane Flowers specifically for the Tyfu Cymru Welsh Flowers network.
