Paviland Farm is built on the strong foundations of many generations of Welsh family farming.
Back in the 1960s the family took advantage of the mild, Gower microclimate to grow top-quality vegetables, fruit and arable crops, which were sold commercially across the UK.
Today, with the aim of diversifying the farm to create a sustainable system for future generations, Paviland Farm has re-introduced fruit and vegetables, such as pumpkins, early potatoes and sweetcorn, as well as sunflowers, but this time, they are all grown entirely without chemicals and artificial fertilisers.
Tyfu Cymru has helped Paviland Farm by providing expertise to support it in growing crops without the artificial chemicals and fertilisers which were traditionally used. This diversification has enabled Paviland to sell exclusively to local restaurants and shops and provide a high-value product range.
Creating natural, sustainable Welsh products, which support the wellbeing of both humans and animals, is now the next chapter in this Welsh farming story.
