Sarah Dummett

Horticulture Development Officer

Sarah studied at Pershore College of Horticulture specialising in Ornamental Horticulture.

Following college, she worked for English Heritage at Walmer Castle, Kent. Sarah missed her welsh roots and returned to work for a local award-winning garden centre.

Sarah’s other career experiences are in retail and administration with customer services being key and an essential skill to bring to the role of Tyfu Cymru Horticulture Development Officer.

She also brings experience of Event Organisation through her background in the floristry industry.

With this background she is passionate about developing and supporting the growth of horticulture in Wales.
